How to Determine How Many Solar Panels I Need for a 2 12v Battery Bank
Question:
I have only a two battery 12V bank for my class C motorhome, is the one panel enough to keep the batteries charged or would two panels be better? I plan to upgrade to lithium ion batteries soon.

More than likely the 1 panel that comes with the Go Power Overlander Solar Charging System with Digital Solar Controller - 200 Watt Solar Panel # 34282181 is going to be plenty for your two 12V battery bank. The Go Power # 34282181 comes with a 200 Watt solar panel which is going to be on the upper side of what is recommended for a two 12V battery bank. Using the Adjustable Mount Kit for Go Power Rigid Solar Panels # 34244034 can help you angle the panel for maximum sun exposure.
I have attached a help article that goes over using solar power and how to determine how much energy you are using and how many panels/batteries you would need to keep up with that energy usage.
