Replacement Ski and Snowboard Carrier For Thule Hitch Mounted Bike Racks
Question:
I see you list out the hardware for Thule Ski Carrier Adapter, # TH987XT, however a few of the items are no longer available. Do you have parts that can be substituted? They are: Socket Screw for C-Clamp need 2 # 919067054 Rubber Strap need 2 # 853-0184 Thanks

Expert Reply:
I recommend upgrading to the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter for Hitch Bike Racks # TH9033 as the socket screw and rubber strap do not have any substitutions available on your TH987XT adapter. Most of the available parts for your adapter are while supplies last and eventually you will find that you are going to have to replace the adapter you currently have.
