Is the Repeater Installation Required for TST TPMS for RVs

Question:

Hi, I just purchased a new 22ft Outdoors RV bumper tow travel trailer that has four 6 volt batteries as house batteries. My tow vehicle is a 2021 Dodge RAM 2500 with a 6-1/2ft bed. First question, do I need the repeater? And second question, can the repeater be wired to my 6 volt battery banks? Also, can I use this system with my 22ft boat trailer with tandem axels but using hydraulic surge brakes and no separate battery on the trailer? Thanks,

Starting with your first question, you will need to install the signal booster when installing the # TST-507-RV-4-C. Failure to do so will make the system unreliable.

Since you have 6V batteries you will be able to power the booster. In order to get the 12V power, 2 of your 6V batteries will need to be wired in series.

For your boat trailer, the # TST-507-RV-4-C will work but you will need to add a way to power the repeater. Since you will be submerging the sensors in water, I recommend using the Internal Tire Sensor for TST TPMS Systems # TST-507-INT-S1. These are internal sensors and are compatible with the # TST-507-RV-4-C system.

I have included some review videos for your reference.
