Troubleshooting Slide-Out Creep On A 2011 Georgetown Class A Motorhome

Question:

We have a 2011 Georgetown Class A. The main living room slide drifts out as you go down the road. It doesnt do it sitting still at all. Fluid is full, and we went thru the bleed out procedure to make sure there wasnt any air in the system. I dont see any signs of an external leak. We have taken the unit in twice now for the issue, they replaced the a solenoid valve combo but I dont believe it was for that room. The valve I am pointing to in the second picture is the one for that room. Should I replace it?

Expert Reply:

The slide-out creep could be caused by a bad solenoid, bad hydraulic cartridge valve, or a bad hydraulic ram. Since you're having an issue with only one slide out I recommend starting with the Lippert Replacement Hydac Cartridge Valve for RV Slide-Out Hydraulic Pump # LC177094. I also recommend checking the ram for leaks.
