How to Determine if 10 inch or 12 inch Stainless Disc Brake Kit is Needed for Trailer Axle

I want to convert my boat trailer to ss disc brakes but dont know whether I need 10 or 12. Can you tell me how to determine that please?

To determine what disc brake kit you'd need for your trailer is based on the axle capacity of the trailer and the wheel bolt pattern. With that info we can easily pick out what you'd need.
The 10 inch rotor designs like the part # K2HR35DS are for 3,500 lb axles with 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt patterns. 12 inch rotors like the part # K2HR526DKG are for 5,200 to 7,000 lb axles typically.
