The Empire Faucets Stainless Steel RV Bathroom Vessel Sink Faucet - Single Lever Handle - Brushed Nickel # EM72WR requires a 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" mounting hole. The plate actually comes separate from the faucet as an accessory for you to put on it if you want to so you can definitely mount this faucet without it.
