Roof Rack for 2019 Toyota 4Runner that Thule Motion XL Cargo Box Clears Antenna
Question:
I have a 2019 Toyota 4Runner and Thule Motion XL cargo rack. The factory cross bars sit too low, so the cargo rack does not clear the antenna on the bar of the roof. Do I need to change the cross bars, and if so what cross bars would you recommend? I looked at the Malone and some of the Thule options. Thank you.

I checked with Thule and they stated that with their Wingbar Evo Roof rack # TH711420 and # TH710401 the Thule Motion XT part # TH629806 would fit and clear the rear antenna. Based on that I don't see why the Malone rack part # MPG216 wouldn't work as well since they are about the same height.
I attached a review video of the Malone rack installed on a similar 4Runner and you can see the bars are taller than the antenna.
