Can I Use the B&W Companion 5th-Wheel Hitch on My 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500?

I have 2018 Chevy 3500 long bed with a B and W Goose hitch and Im not sure if it had the OEM prep cant find the dealer sticker. Will this hitch work in my case? Thanks!

Typically, 2018 Chevy 3500s come with OEM prep. However, to make sure, there are a few ways to determine whether you have the OEM prep system. The first way is to remove the goose hitch and look for bolt entry points in your truck's bed. This is a dead giveaway. On the video I attached to this answer, it shows the bolt pattern of OEM prep at timestamp 5:22.

Also, the existence of a 5th-wheel trailer wiring opening on the inside of the bed is also an indicator. If you determine that you do have factory prep, the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3705 will work on your 8-foot bed.

If you discover you do not have OEM prep, I recommend the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W along with the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1016-5W.

The installation kit will allow you to have a mounting location for the hitch in your truck's bed. You will need the wiring harness # C56000 if you don't have one already with your gooseneck.
