There are a few differences between the Draw-Tite # 76170 and etrailer # e98855 for your 2021 Honda Odyssey. The first difference is that the # 76170 has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 525 pounds and a gross towing weight capacity of 3,500 pounds. The # e98855, also, has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 525 pounds and a gross towing weight capacity of 3,500 pounds. However, the etrailer hitch can be used with a weight distribution system which increases its towing capacity to 5,000 lbs. When trying to determine your own weight needs, it is important to confirm with your owner's manual to ensure your vehicle can handle these maximum weights.
Another difference is ground clearance and bumper clearance. For the # 76170, that hitch has a ground clearance of 12-1/4 inches and measures 5 inches from the center of the pinhole to the outside surface of the rear bumper. The # e98855 has a ground clearance of 14 inches and measures 3-1/2 inches from the center of the pinhole to the outside surface of the rear bumper.
As far as installation, both of the hitches come with all hardware required for an easy, bolt-on installation. With all of these characteristics considered, I recommend going with the # e98855 because it has enough weight capacity that will surely suit your purposes and comes with a a higher ground clearance.
