According to Thule, there are some Sonic models that will fit the factory roof rack of your Buick Enclave without interfering with the full operation of the rear hatch. The Sonic Large, part # TH636 is a confirmed fit for your 2009 Buick Enclave.

Thule states that the longer, larger-capacity 22 cubic foot XXL Sonic models would extend to the rear far enough to interfere with the full opening of the rear hatch, although you will be able to open it partially.
