How To Determine Which AirLift Spacers Are Needed For Your Vehicle

Question:

I see there is two options for a 6 inch lifted truck and was wondering how do you know if you need to angled version other than the straight one. I will be getting some of these for my truck and my dads and want to make sure I order the right ones.

In some applications an angled spacer # AL79GV will be needed as oppose to a straight spacer # AL52460, to keep the upper and lower mounting brackets as parallel as possible.

To determine which spacers are right for you, you will have to measure on a flat level surface, the distance between the mounting surface on the upper and lower brackets.

Then, subtract the height of the air spring at design height (Table 1) and the measurement taken in the first step.

Finally, choose the correct kit for your vehicle (Table 2) based off the info obtained.
