What Interior RV Ladder Do You Recommend for My Bunk?

Question:

I am looking to replace my interior ladder. I want a wider step and must be able to put it away during the day. Laying it on the top bunk is ok but must be easy to do. What are your suggestions.

For a great interior ladder with wide steps, I recommend the Stromberg Carlson RV Bunk Ladder - Aluminum - Black - 60" Tall # LA-460B. The Stromberg Carlson gives you 13 inches of step length and gives you the option of permanently bolting the ladder to your bunk or temporarily install it with the pre-installed hooks. If you choose to temporarily mount the ladder so you can store it in your top bunk, the ladder only weighs 5 pounds, which will make it easy to lift. For optimal height customization, you have the ability to cut length from the bottom legs. As far as weight capacity, the RV bunk ladder will hold up to 300 pounds.

I think this ladder is a piece of junk and no better than what I have. It kills my feet to climb a ladder like this. You need to do more research.

I feel that the ladder you are referring to is just as good as the next one. I have attached a link that shows all of the ladders that we offer for you to consider. To get a more comfortable ladder you will need steps whose tread depth is deeper (front to back) which spreads out your weight to a wider foot print, and each step to be wider, but then you get into ladders that are heavy and cumbersome to move around. Most of our customers want a light weight ladder for that reason.
