Will The Curt C13382 Hitch Fit A Canadian 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport?

Question:

Hi, Looking to buy a Curt trailer hitch number 13382 for a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. However, I am in Canada where this model car has a 2.0 L engine it is 2.5 L in the USA. Will this make any difference in terms of the hitch? I dont think so but want to be sure. Thanks for confirming.

From everything I could find out, there will be no issue installing the Curt # C13382 on your 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, and long as it is not a Hybrid model. As you mentioned that it was a Sport edition, this shouldn't therein be a problem. We actually ship hitches to Canada pretty frequently and as long as there isn't a known issue with Canadian models, but that is pretty rare and we have not hear a single issue with the Crosstrek, so you are good to go.

I will add that if you do plan on towing with your Crosstrek at any point, it is a good idea to get a wiring harness, like the Tekonsha T-One # 118467, as well. This will save on shipping costs and with it being a plug and play option, it will take no time to install.
