Converting 4-Way to 5-Way for Boat Trailer on 2022 Hyundai Palisade
Question:
I have a 4-way wiring harness already on my 2022 Hyundai Palisade and I need it to be a 5-way to connect to my boat trailer. Is there something that can do this without having to install a completely different wiring harness?

In order to turn your 4-way connection into a 5-way on your 2022 Hyundai Palisade you will not have to install a different wiring harness. What you need is an adapter like the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 5-Way Flat - Vehicle End # C57187. Your existing 4-way will plug into the adapter, and from there you will connect the additional wire to your reverse lights.
