Does Swagman Fork Down Bike Rack S64710 Have Minimum Crossbar Thickness it Mounts to
Question:
I see many posts saying he maximum width or thickness of crossbars that the Swagman S64710 can attach to is 3 inches, but the Brightline crossbars Im planning to buy for my 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport is thinner than that, as well as thinner than aero bars or square bars offered for the same vehicle. So whats the minimum thickness that the crossbars have to be to make it work? Thanks

That's an excellent question, and while there is a maximum crossbar thickness, there isn't actually a minimum crossbar thickness for the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Carrier # S64710.
There is a maximum crossbar thickness because the mounting hardware uses clamps with U-bolts that are only so wide, but so long as your crossbars are less than 3 inches in width, the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Carrier # S64710 will easily mount right to your crossbars.
