How To Determine Which Reese Goose Box Will Fit A 2008 Forest River Cedar Creek 34SATS
Question:
I havent been able to determine which pinbox my Cedar Creek uses. Does Reese Goose box make a model that will fit? If so with the GVWR being 13750 would it be advisable to chose the 16000lb model or the 20000lb model?

With your 2008 Forest River Cedar Creek 34SATS weighing 13,750 fully loaded, you can use the Reese Goose Box 20,000 Pounds # RP85FR. You will need to verify your pin box number before going either way as both of this is designed to fit multiple pin boxes and you'll want to make sure yours is one of them.
There are a couple ways to go about doing this, but the easiest will be to contact Forest River with your VIN. They should be able to tell you exactly which you have installed.
In the off chance they cannot tell you, there are other ways to verify which one you have. First will be to check your pin box for a label. The manufacturer and model number of the pin box is usually printed on a sticker or stamped into a plate or directly into the metal of the pin box.
If the label has been removed and no stamping can be found, you can also measure to confirm you pin box number. I have an article attached that will show exactly where to measure and what that measurement will determine.
