How To Determine Which Reese Goose Box Will Fit My Trailer

Upgrading to the Reese Goose Box # RP85FR is pretty common and a great option, but you definitely need to verify which pin box you have. This can be easily done by contacting the manufacturer of your trailer to ask. All you will need is the VIN and they should be able to tell you as they keep this on file.

In the off chance they cannot tell you, you can also measure to confirm you pin box number. This is a bit more difficult, but I have an article attached that will show exactly where to measure and what that measurement will determine.

The # RP85FR fits the Lippert 1621 and 0719 pin boxes, which are pretty common, but not everyone uses these. KZ should be able to tell you exactly which you have though, so I definitely recommend going that route first.
