Replacement Key for a Sears X-Cargo Roof Mounted Cargo Box
Question:
I need an extra key for the one I have. 2854 will fit all.sears? When you install and driving down the east coast do they ever loosen up Or should you put a locktight on the threads to prevent vibration.

If the lock face on the lock itself that is on your Sears X-Cargo cargo box starts with an N or E followed by 2854 then you can use the replacement key # THKEYN2854.
When properly installed the cargo box should not loosen up at all. It would still be worth the time to make sure everything is tight when you stop for gas or a break on a long drive. I do not recommend using Loctite because you are supposed to be able to install and remove the mounting hardware by hand.
