For your 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500 with a short bed I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 21,000 lbs # DM8550035 with the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 21K # DM6333. The GVWR I'm seeing for a 2021 Jayco Pinnacle 38FLGS is around 17,750 so I recommend using a 21k hitch as you'll only want to use 80-85% of the max towing capacity of your hitch for safety.

This hitch has an autoslide feature which will make adjusting for tight turns super easy. You won't have to get out of your truck to pull the maneuvering lever to make a turn and then get out again to lock the hitch back in the towing position.
