What is the Difference Between the Curt 5th-Wheel Hitches Q24 and Q25?
Question:
What is the difference between the Curt Q24 and Curt Q25? I am asking because I have a 6-3/4 bed on a 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 with OEM prep.

The only difference between the Curt Q24 included in # C16546 and Q25 # C16566 fifth wheel hitches is that the Q25 head is rated for 25,000 lbs while the head of the Q24 is rated for 24,000 lbs. However, the legs of both units are rated for 24,000 lbs which is why you see that both hitches have a towing capacity of 24,000 lbs (capacity is determined by the lowest overall rating).
It is important to note that when using these hitches with your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500's 6-3/4 ft. bed with OEM prep, you will need adapters. For both models, you will need to use # C88KR. The adapter adds 2-1/2 inches to the added height of your hitch.
