Can I use the SportRack Vista Cargo box in a 2017 Audi Q7?

Since the Sportrack Vista # SR7018 requires crossbar spreads of 23-5/8 inches, 25-7/8 inches, 27-7/8 inches, and 29-7/8 inches, it will be able to fit onto the roof of your 2017 Audi Q7 if you have factory crossbars. Your roof does have enough crossbar spread to accommodate the Vista. However, you will need a crossbar system to mount the Vista. If you have a factory crossbar system, the Vista will be able to clamp onto your crossbars as long as your crossbars do not exceed 4 inches in width. I recommend measuring your crossbars to make sure they do not exceed this measurement.

As far as the ability to fully open your rear hatch, we confirmed with Sportrack that your roof needs to have 39 inches from the center of the front crossbar (in the maximum front position) to the line where the hatch and roof meet. If that measurement is at least 39 inches, you will be able to open the rear hatch with the Vista installed.

If you have a flush siderails on your 2017 Audi Q7, you will need to first confirm whether you have enough crossbar spread that is required (23-5/8 inches, 25-7/8 inches, 27-7/8 inches, and 29-7/8 inches). The way that you can tell is if you measure in-between the available mounting points on your roof. If you need a crossbar system, I recommend the following parts:
