Addressing Different Trailer Hitch Ball Height on New Truck

Question:

I have switched tow vehicle from a Ram 1500 to a. Ford f150. The hitch appears to be several inches higher. Is this something to be concerned about.

I would be happy to help you with this issue you have. This is something you should be concerned with. You're going to want to haul your trailer as level as possible and the issue you're encountering is common and easy to address. With the information you have given me, I recommend going with the Flash Solid Steel Adjustable 2-Ball Mount item # FA49-00-5900. This adjustable ball mount fits a 2" Hitch it has a 10" drop and 11" rise and has a 12,000 lbs capacity.
