Electric Trailer Brakes Sticking After Not Being Used For a While
Question:
I recently cleaned and rewired my trailer brakes after they haven’t been used for a while. To test them I spun the tires and pulled the breakaway switch. It locked them up but after putting the plunger back in they’re still pretty hard to spin like they’re sticking. What all could possibly fix this? Thanks

If your electric trailer brakes are sticking after not having been used for some time they likely just need to be adjusted with Brake Adjustment Spoon # W80630.
If you've already adjusted the brakes, it could be an issue with the trailer connector if you didn't replace that as it could be some minor corrosion in the 7-way so you can try cleaning it or replacing it with the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector - Trailer End # PK12706.
