For a great quality 5th-wheel hitch for your 2022 Ford F-250 with OEM prep, I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550024 (18k) or the # DM8550038 (21k). In most cases, the 18k version of the Hijacker will be enough weight capacity for most 5th-wheel trailers. However, if the gross towing weight capacity of your trailer needs extra capacity, I recommend the 21k version.

A great feature of the Hijacker is its sliding capability. With your 6-3/4 ft. bed, the Hijacker will give you 14 inches of clearance when making wide turns. The Hijacker also comes with three adjustable height settings (15-1/2, 16-3/4, and 18-1/4 inches). As far as fitment, the Hijacker will fit standard pin boxes that measure 12-14 inches wide.
