Anti-Rattle Device for Kuat Bike Rack Used in Curt 1-1/4 inch Hitch
Question:
I just installed my Curt hitch i got from you guys. Great hitch. when i put the Curt adapter 2in to a 1.15in the 1.25 in end wobbles quite a bit due to the amount of play between the hitch and the adapter. I use a KUAT bike rack which has a ball bearing system to eliminate any play. What can I do to tighten the space on the 1.25in connection between the hitch and adapter?? I have 2 Very expensive bikes and dont want to worry about a wobbling rack. do they make any shims forthis purpose? thanks in advance for your help

Expert Reply:
The easiest solution for getting rid of hitch movement with a 1-1/4 inch hitch accessory is with a U-bolt style anti-rattle like the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch part # RM-061-125. This will hold your hitch adapter tight and the anti-rattle of your Kuat bike rack will hold it tight to the adapter.
