In order to use the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty # RED24FR on your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you first need a 4-way wiring harness (if you do not have one already). If you do not have a 4-way, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C62VR. The Curt T-Connector harness includes a powered module that connects directly to the battery to avoid overloading vehicle's electrical system.
Once you have the 4-way, you need to install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. With the # ETBC7, you will be able to have full functionality on the Tow Pro Liberty. The wiring includes a 25-foot long, 10-gauge duplex wire that is wrapped in an abrasion-resistant cover in order to resist harsh elements.
