Can I Use A Thule Hullavator With My Yakima Crossbars On My 2015 Ford Explorer

I have a 2015 Ford Explorer that I want to put 2 hullivaters and 2 kayaks what do I need for attachments. I do have the regular roof rack from Ford. I have Yakima round bars and attachments but I don’t think they are compatible with Thule. The hullivater is what I want.

You can use your Yakima crossbars with the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs - Side Loading, part # TH898. Here is the Yakima rack you will need for your 2015 Ford Explorer.

Round 58" CrossBars for Yakima Roof Rack System (QTY 2), part # Y00409, or
Round 66" CrossBars for Yakima Roof Rack System (QTY 2), part # Y00410

You will choose the crossbars that provide the 4" to 8" of extension beyond the Yakima Timberline towers.

TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Qty 4, part # Y33TR,
RoundBar SL Adapter for Yakima BaseLine, SkyLine, TimberLine, and RidgeLine Towers - Qty 4, part # Y03536, and

This rack will have a weight limit of 165 lbs. I also included locks so you can secure your roof rack to your vehicle. Then you can get the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs - Side Loading, part # TH898. Please keep in mind that the Hullavators weigh 40 lbs each and the Yakima roof rack weighs approximately 23 lbs. This will leave you with about 62 lbs for your two kayaks.
