Weight Distribution System and Sway Control Recommendation for Travel Trailer with 610 lb TW
Question:
Good evening, I am new to towing and i just got a 31 foot keystone bullet ultra 2018. i need to get a weight distribution and sway control for my 2015 gmc sierra 1500 double cab standard box. 5.3l v8 ecotec3, with tow package. rear axle 3.42 ratio on the door panel it says gvwr 7000 lb, gawr frt 3600, gawr rr 3950 and the hitch receiver sticker says . v-5 gm max tongue weight 1200 with a max tongue and trailer 12000. In my owners manual it says max trailer 9,500 and gcwr 15000. For the TT Weight: Dry Weight 5,030 lbs. Payload Capacity 2,395 lbs. GVWR 7,610 lbs. Hitch Weight 610 lbs. with all these number and the information can i tow it and what would you recomend i get for a distribution and sway hitch. i joined the Marines right out of high school so no college. lol math for Marines. i really would be thankful for your input.
