In order to flat tow your 2011 Jeep Patriot behind your 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 you will need a few components.

The first thing you'll need is a base plate kit. This base plate kit connects to the toad vehicle to allow tow bars to be connected to the towed vehicle. For this, I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1130 which is a confirmed fit for your Patriot.

Next you'll need a tow bar; A popular choice with a maximum weight capacity of 6,500 lbs is the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380.
