What Are the Torque Specs for Installing the 10K Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System

I have FP-94-00-1000 unit, need to check current hardware, what torque # should I apply for this unit to tighten up or check

Expert Reply:
The 1/2" bolts for the frame backets on the Fastway e2 # FA94-00-1000 need to be torqued to 65 ft-lbs, hardware or the L-brackets needs to be 75 ft-lbs, and then the 3/4" shank bolts need to be torqued to 250 ft-lbs. You're hitch ball will need to be torqued to the manufacturer's specs but Fastway recommends having a torque wrench on hand that can handle up to 450 ft-lbs of torque.
If you don't already have a hitch ball then I recommend the Draw-Tite # 63840 which needs to be torqued to 450 ft-lbs. Please note that we do recommend using a thin-walled 1-7/8" socket like part # EQ70-00-4800 to help make installing the hitch ball easier.
