Tools Needed To Torque The 14MM Hitch Bolts For the Curt Receiver # C13146 On a 2020 Honda Pilot
Question:
I have a 2020 Honda Pilot and I ordered the Curt C13146 hitch. I am expecting it to be delivered today. Online, there seems to be some different opinions of the proper torque for the hitch bolts. Can you clarify the correct torque settings for this hitch on this vehicle? Thanks in advance.

You should always follow the manufacturers instructions for proper torque of the hitch bolts. I have linked a copy of the installation instructions below for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13146 which does list the installation torque as well as tools that are needed for installation.
To torque the hitch bolts you will need a 22mm socket, 6" extension, and a Torque Wrench # PT79FR or Torque Wrench Adapter # ALL940962 capable of at least 139 lb-ft of torque.
