Will Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System Fit 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Question:

Will this work on our 2002 Silverado. 2500HD extended cab diesel with an 8 foot bed. We keep the truck in the garage when we are not using it, so it still looks very much like new. We also live in California and have no rust at all. We have a small trailer and would like the camera for backing up and connecting the trailer to our hitch. Thank you,

The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System # HM50002 will fit just fine with your 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. This uses the US Car Connector to gain power for the camera and sensors. The US Car Connector will be at the back of the 7-Way on your truck. You should just be able to pop it out and tee in this system. Once you've mounted the license plate bracket and routed the wiring up to where you want to mount the monitor you'll be good to go!
