Brake Controller Wires Under Dash On Chevy Express Van Not Active

A diagram of the wiring to the fuse box would be a lot of help is a 2017 Chevy Express 3500 the wires are under the mat to hook into the brake controller no power can you help me thank you very much

This is a very common problem on the Chevy Express Vans in that the brake controller wires under the dash are not active. I don't have any diagrams of these wires but what I can tell you is that you'll need to simply run your own wires. We have had a large number of the Express Vans in our shop and have spent countless hours tracing wires to find power but to no avail. Therefore, we have already done all of the troubleshooting and headache for you. You can wire up pretty much any brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 using the Universal Brake Controller Install Kit part # ETBC7. I have attached an install video I did below.

The wires under the dash are a lost cause unfortunately
