Does Short Bed 2018 Ram 3500 Short Bed with OEM Rail Kit Need Slider Hitch
Question:
I have a 2018 RAM 3500 short bed. Is it advisable to install a slider hitch or fixed hitch. If slider a Demco sidewinder or BandW? Thanks,

Since the short bed length of your 2018 Ram 3500 is a "longer" short bed at 6-1/2 feet. So if you have a newer camper that has a tapered nose like most of them now do for turning clearance you could easily use a fixed hitch like the B and W Companion part # BWRVK3600 that fits directly to your OEM rail kit.
Or if you have a square nosed trailer a slider hitch like the part # BWRVK3670 is the slider version that would work well. Sidewinders are a great option too but would require us to know what pin box model your trailer has.
