Additional Air Line Needed for the Roadmaster Brakemaster Braking System
Question:
I have a roadmaster brake patch cord part # 921004. I added a Blue Ox motorcycle rack to my motorhome and the #921004 is now too short to reach my Jeep. I need an additional 36inch depth of the rack. The #921004-88 is listed as 88, but the #921004 length is not stated. Is the #921004-88 36inch longer than the the standard #921004?

Expert Reply:
The air line assembly for the Roadmaster BrakeMaster, # RM-921004, is 76 inches long. This cord is only 12 inches shorter than the 88 inch cord # RM-921004-88. I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster and he told me that these are the only two preassembled lengths that they offer.
Instead, I recommend purchasing the correct length of air line hose, # RM450700, and the Quick Disconnect Kit, # RM-921004-80. The air line hose is sold by the foot, so for 36 inches, you will want to order a quantity of 3.
