Hitch Recommendation for a 2006 Volkswagen New Beetle TDI
Question:
Will this hitch 24877 fit a 2006 Volkswagen New Beetle TDI ? your documentation mentions turbos but does not specify gas of diesel. Ive looked thru you questions and answers and seems you need to make some additions to your web site on this topic. quite a few people with diesels are asking the same questions.

I do have a solution for you, but the Draw-Tite # 24877 that you referenced is only confirmed to fit 2012-2013 Beetles so right away its not going to work for you since you have a 2006.
I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite and he informed me that the Draw-Tite # 24679 will work on your 2006 Volkswagen New Beetle Turbo. I attached an install video and installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
