How Does I.D. Light Bar For Trailers Over 80" Get Installed On Trailer With 4 Wires
Question:
I have 3 wires plus a ground how do I wire the single wire with those

Expert Reply:
The Identification Light Bar for Trailers over 80" Wide # MCL97RPG you were looking at only gets connected to the running light wire on your trailer as it is just I.D lights that are not capable of turn signal/brake light function, so that will be the only wire used in connecting this light bar.
If you are not sure which wire does what function then you will need to hook up the trailer to your tow vehicle, turn on the headlights, and use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to find which wire only has power when the headlights are turned on.
You can wrap the ground wire you have around the mounting hardware if you desire as this light bar grounds through the mounting hardware.
I included a video review of the # MCL97RPG for you to take a look at.
