I will be happy to help you find a cargo bag for your 2010 Hyundai Tucson. We have several cargo bags that will fit on a vehicle with no roof rack. I have included a link to them for you. Since you need cargo space for the whole family, a larger bag would be your best bet. It is better to have a bag that is too large than one that is too small.

The largest naked roof bag that we have is # RL100S30. It has an 18 cubic foot capacity. I have incldued a link to a video review of this bag for you. I also recommend a couple of accessories for any bag that you choose. To protect the roof, I recommend the non-skid pad # RL100650. And to make getting to the bag easier I recommend the tire step # HE4040.

I should explain that the way these bags attach to a naked roof is by running the straps through the inside of the vehicle. You will place the bag, then open the doors on the vehicle, run the straps through the vehicle and tighten them. The doors can be closed on the straps, no problem.

Be sure to check your owners manual or contact Hyundai for the roof weight carrying capacity before loading anything in the bag.

Hi!I will be travel cross country in 3 weeks - Southern California to Upstate, NY. I need a cargo carrier for my Hyundai Tucson 2013 and is has those crossbar racks not a big metal holder thing on the roof. Could you please give me some suggestions on a size and waterproof brand that will fit? Thanks

I honestly really like the Rightline Bag # RL100S30 that Michael recommended above. It can attach right to those factory bars on your Tucson and its waterproof construction will keep everything dry. The best size for you really depends on just how much of your cargo won't fit inside the vehicle. If you think the 18 cubic feet of storage on this unit is a bit too much, a smaller alternative (with the same waterproof construction) can be found with the 10 cubic foot model # RL100S50.
