Which Regulator Should I Use to Replace a Wintec 6020 Regulator on 2018 Jayco Jayfeather 23RL

Question:

Sorry, I just sent you a question with regard to replacing my Wintec 6020 with the JR #37207-31525 and if it would provide enough Btu if I was using the furnace while using two burners on the stove and the water heater kicked on at the same time. I now see that model #37207-30395 has a higher Btu rating. Would this be too high for a 2018 Jayco Jay Feather, model 23RL? The Wintec 6020 is shown as 287,500 Btu. Whereas the 31525 is showing less yet in the questions areas on your site it is being referenced as being a fine replacement and too, the 30395 is also being referenced as be fine as well. Im confused at this point. I dont mind spending the extra money if I need to but dont want to have problems if Btus being too high can cause me a problem. I would be buying all parts and accessories from you once I understand what it is that I should be buying. Thank you for your assistance.

In reality, both the # 37207-31525 and the # 37207-30395 would be acceptable replacements since most folks aren't going to be utilizing that much gas at the same time; even running all of your gas powered appliances at the same time on maximum power, you should still not have any issues running either regulator.

If you do tend to run a lot of gas appliances at the same time then you're going to be best suited with the 345,000btu Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-30395. Both of these units are automatic changeover regulators so you don't have to worry about switching when the gas tanks get low, so they're nice options.
