Should Electric Trailer Brakes 23-458-459 Have Four Wires to Magnet
Question:
I have 5200lb lippert tandem axles rv travel trailer. The left side front axle has two wires to magnet which is easy to connect. Rear axle had four wires to old magnet. Do I connect all four wires to rear magnet? Connected front brake wiring to magnet but doesnt work. Is that because rear magnet isnt connected yet?

Electric trailer brakes like the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-458-459 should only utilize two wires, the power and the ground. You do need to connect each of the wires to your brake assemblies, and each should have its own ground.
If you haven't completed the set up then that would be why the brakes aren't all operational as of yet. If you take a look at the cut out I added you can see how the wiring should go for your brakes. I have also added a link below to an install video which should be useful for you.
