I have a different option for you, but the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors # CM11400 you were looking at are not compatible with the full chrome factory mirrors on your 2016 Ram 1500 Laramie.
Instead I recommend going with the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80710 which are also a custom fit towing mirror set, but are compatible with your mirrors.
I included a video of the # KS80710 being installed on a similar Ram 1500 for you to take a look at.
