Using the Curt C99FR hitch, will I have to cut any part of my rear trim to have the hitch fit?

You will not have to cut into any of the rear trim to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Item # C99FR. The only pieces of your 2021 Toyota Highlander you will have to alter is the under body panel. It requires a few cuts and some minor modifications to be reattached after the hitch receiver is installed. I have linked an installation video to show you.
