Recommended Roof Rack and Bike Carrier for Carbon Frame Road Bike on 2014 Toyota Prius c

Question:

Im really liking the Rhino Rack for my 2014 Prius C for transporting my carbon fiber road bike but I have a few questions. My first question is will this work with my vehicle? The second question I have is what parts do you recommend purchasing to fit my car? And my third question is which bike carrier to you recommend for a 2021 Cannondale Synapse Road Bike? It looks like you were looking at a roof rack that uses the Rhino Rack Euro Bars # RREB106B, which I don't recommend because of the lack of accessories that are designed to fit on these bars, but there is a great option available from Rhino Rack that will work on your 2014 Toyota Prius c. Instead, I recommend using the Rhino Rack Roof Rack that uses the Vortex aero bars; the parts required for this roof rack are the # RRVA106B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK351. I do recommend replacing the plastic locks on the crossbars with the # RRVA-LEC4 to provide better security for your investment. This roof rack will give you the base needed to carry a bike rack, or any other roof rack mounted accessories you might want in the future.

To carry your Cannondale Synapse I recommend using the Rhino-Rack Hybrid Roof Bike Rack # RRRBC050, which will mount on the Vortex aero bars and since it doesn't make any contact with the carbon frame of the bike and is fully compatible with disc brakes.
