Parts Needed To Install a 7-Way and Brake Controller On a 2022 Ford Transit T250
Question:
What do I need top put a 7way connection and brake controller into my 2022 Ford Transit? It does not have any of the factory trailer wiring.

The Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter # 22114 contains all the wiring and connections needed to install a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 on your 2022 Ford Transit T250.
While the Tekonsha kit does use OEM style connectors for the connecting to the lights on your Transit you will need a Test Light # PTW2993 to confirm the correct brake switch wire on your Transit. When we completed the installation of these parts on a 2020 Transit T250 (I linked the video below) the wire needed for connecting to the red wire from the P3 brake controller is the purple wire with white tracer.
