How Wide of U-Bolt Plate Will the SumoSprings SS26MV Fit Onto?
Question:
I have a 2019 cedar creek RE29 fifth wheel. It looks as if I have a larger top unbolt plate. Guess it is incase you add shocks. What is the largest plate the sumo spring can attach to? I guess I can cut the plate down to size.

I had the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs w/ Line Relocation Bracket # SS26MV measured and the maximum spread will be 4-5/8 inches. As long as your U-Bolt plate is not wider than this, you will not need to modify it in any way. If it is wider than this, you will need to either modify the plate, or go with a different option.
The Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks - 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb (3") Overslung Axle # LC281281 will replace your U-Bolts and plates and may be the better option.
