Troubleshooting B&W Patriot with Head that is Locked Up
Question:
When unhitched and swinging arm open the jaws will not separate to open, I can pry them open with stick, how do I solve this problem?

Have you been greasing the head of your B and W twice a year like recommended? It sounds yours might be locked up from a lack of lubrication. There is a zerk fitting under the jaws that you can use to add grease. You can and also grease the jaws themselves with white lithium grease like part # L11316.
