Would Rightline Roof Cargo Basket Fit on Vehicle Roof with 32 inch Crossbar Spread
Question:
2004 buick rendezvous - have about 32inch between the factory cross bars on this car front to back. bag size says 44foot length. will it fit correctly sitting partly on top of the cross bars as the bag is longer than the opening between the bars? will be sitting partly on car roof, with cross bars underneath part of the bag because of this, so bag will not be flat on the roof of the car thanks,

You could install the Rightline roof bag # RL100S20 directly to the vehicle roof on a vehicle that has crossbars that are 32 inches apart. Since the bag is longer than the crossbar spread you are correct and it would have to go over at least one of the bars. I would recommend having it go over the rear bar as that would prevent air from getting under the bag as you are travelling.
