Can this hitch be broken down into 2 parts for easy removal and install? My current one has 2 pins to remove and the head comes off. Wonder if this one is the same.

The option I have for you is the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs
# C16541. The # C16541 separates into 2 pieces to make installation and removal possible for one person. The fifth wheel hitch is also a slider which may improve the clearance of your trailer with your 2011 GMC Sierra 2500.
If you need installation rails, the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish
Item # C16411-204 will be the correct rails.
