Hollywood racks destination 4 bike rack hitch pin

Question:

Hi, will the Hollywood racks destination 4 bike rack work with a 2.5inch receiver? Will the threaded locking pin be long enough? Thank you.

In order to carry the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # HR4000, on a vehicle with a 2-1/2" hitch receiver, you will need a hitch reducer. I recommend the B&W Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2" to 2", part # BWRHXA2182. This reducer sleeve will allow you to use your 2" hitch receiver accessories with your 2-1/2" hitch receiver. This reducer sleeve has a pinched end that keeps it from sliding to far into the hitch receiver. This will make it easier to align the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack during installation. You should not have a problem using the threaded pin, but I cannot guarantee there will be enough room for the lock.
