You could use the 16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray for 2" Hitches - 200 lbs # TLA7901 on a front mounted hitch, but it should be done with caution as large items like generators can obstruct the airflow to the engine bay. We haven't seen this issue pop up specifically when using this cargo tray, but it is something that should be paid attention to when you're using it in this manner.
